Job summary

Canpack in Colombia seeks a Training Coordinator to drive employee capability development by coordinating training and mentoring processes, administering the Skills Management system, and ensuring plant-wide training standards are consistently executed to support operational excellence.

The role involves recruiting and developing local mentors, planning training activities, overseeing skills assessments, and collaborating with the Group Training Team to implement global solutions at the plant

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Manufacturing, Adult Learning, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or related fields.
• Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).
• Company Policies and Code of Conduct.
• Train the trainer training.
• Training in On-the-Job Training methodologies.
• Additional training as directed by the Company to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system (AG%), ensuring data accuracy and effective usage across functions.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors, preparing them for mentoring roles and monitoring training quality.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities supporting KPIs with on-the-job and classroom training.
• Organize and supervise the employee skills assessment process and validate skill levels against standards.
• Monitor training plan execution, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives through internal channels to raise visibility of capability building.
• Coordinate induction programs and learning plans for new employees.
• Maintain training documentation, records, standards, and compliance materials.
• Collaborate with Group / Corporate Training Team on group projects and global training solutions at plant level.
• Perform other duties as assigned by people leader, in line with the role and contract.
• Travel up to 10% to support other sites, projects, or meetings.
