Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Training & Development professional to lead our Skills Management initiatives at the Atlántico plant in Malambo. You will coordinate trainers, administer the AG% system, and align training with KPI goals, ensuring consistent practices across the site.

You will recruit mentors, organize on-the-job and classroom training, assess skills, and report progress to leadership. Occasional travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Manufacturing, Adult Learning, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or related fields.
• Train-the-trainer training and On-the-Job Training methodologies.
• Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).
• Company Policies and Code of Conduct.
• The employee may be required to complete additional training as directed by the Company.
• Travel up to 10% to support other sites and projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system (AG%), ensuring data accuracy across all plant functions.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors, including preparing them for mentorship and monitoring training quality.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities that support KPIs with departments, including on-the-job and classroom training.
• Organize and supervise the employee skills assessment process and validate proficiency levels.
• Monitor execution of training plans, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives through internal channels to boost capability-building visibility.
• Coordinate induction programs and learning plans for employees.
• Maintain training documentation, records, standards, assessments, and compliance materials.
• Collaborate with Group/Corporate Training Team on global solutions at plant level.
• Perform other duties as assigned by people leader; travel up to 10%.
