Job summary

Foundever is seeking a Collections Specialist to join the on-site Bogotá team. You will manage overdue accounts, contact customers, and negotiate payment arrangements to recover balances, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication skills, and experience with CRM and collections platforms. On-site schedule in Bogotá, with potential performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in debt collection, cash collection, customer service, or financial operations (Desirable).
• Strong negotiation and payment recovery skills to manage overdue accounts effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of finance, billing, account reconciliation and payment processes.
• B2+ English is a MUST.
• Previous call center experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage overdue accounts and contact customers via phone, email, and approved channels.
• Negotiate payment arrangements to recover outstanding balances.
• Monitor account status and document customer interactions accurately.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Finance to resolve billing disputes and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure accuracy in account records and compliance with applicable regulations.
