Job summary

BraveUS BPO in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a results-driven Collections Specialist to own a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely payment of open balances. You will negotiate payment commitments, resolve disputes, and collaborate with billing, operations and sales to clear balances.

The role requires 2+ years in B2B collections, ERP experience and strong Excel skills. Fluency in English is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable, ideally with international customers.
English level C1 (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Experience with ERP or accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts and follow up on upcoming and past-due balances by phone and email.
Negotiate payment commitments and payment plans; escalate high-risk accounts with documented actions.
Apply customer payments accurately and support daily lockbox reconciliations.
Maintain AR aging and report weekly on collection progress and at-risk accounts.
Investigate disputes and coordinate credits or rebilling to resolve discrepancies.
