Job summary

Carepod, a premium home wellness brand, seeks an Operations & Logistics Manager to lead logistics and fulfillment as we scale. You will oversee inbound freight, warehousing, fulfillment, outbound shipping, and returns, balancing service, inventory, cost, and efficiency.

This hands-on role requires building scalable processes, managing 3PLs and carriers, and partnering with CX, Marketing, Product, and Finance to support launches and promotions while improving SOPs and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, operations, supply chain, or fulfillment.
• E-commerce, DTC, or retail logistics experience.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong 3PL, carrier, freight forwarder, and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping.
• Strong analytical skills with KPIs and data.
• Experience building SOPs and improving processes.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end logistics operations across inbound freight, warehousing, fulfillment, outbound shipping, and returns.
• Manage 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners; ensure performance and service levels.
• Monitor and improve shipping speed, accuracy, reliability, and cost.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure readiness for launches, promotions, and demand changes.
• Oversee inventory flow and replenishment across warehouses and locations.
• Partner with Supply Chain to maintain healthy inventory and reduce stockouts or overstocks.
• Build and improve SOPs and workflows for receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and exception handling.
• Drive automation, system, packaging, and workflow improvements.

We’re looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager to lead and improve our logistics and fulfillment operations as we scale.

You’ll oversee the movement of products from suppliers to customers, balancing service, inventory, cost, and operational efficiency. This includes leading the logistics team and managing relationships with 3PLs, carriers, freight partners, and vendors.

You’ll work cross‑functionally to support smooth day‑to‑day operations, product launches, and promotions while building scalable processes for growth.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and improving how operations work.

What You’ll Do

• Own end‑to‑end logistics operations across inbound freight, warehousing, fulfillment, outbound shipping, and returns
• Manage 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners, ensuring strong performance and service levels

Inventory & Replenishment

• Oversee inventory flow and replenishment across warehouses and fulfillment locations
• Partner with Supply Chain to anticipate demand, maintain healthy inventory levels, and reduce stockout or overstock risks
• Improve inventory visibility and planning for launches, promotions, and seasonal demand
• Build and improve SOPs and workflows across receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and exception handling
• Identify operational bottlenecks and lead practical process improvements
• Drive automation, system, packaging, and workflow improvements that help operations scale
• Track and analyze key logistics and fulfillment KPIs, including delivery performance, fulfillment accuracy, inventory availability, returns, and shipping costs
• Establish clear performance expectations for the team and external partners
• Use operational data to identify risks, prioritize improvements, and communicate performance to stakeholdersLead and develop the logistics and operations team, setting clear priorities, responsibilities, and performance expectations
• Delegate effectively, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure strong day‑to‑day operational coverage
• Build a culture of ownership and accountability while improving team structure, tools, and workflows
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training as the team grows
• Partner with CX, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain on fulfillment issues, launches, inventory planning, and logistics costs
• Communicate operational risks, delays, and priorities clearly across teams
• Ensure smooth cross‑functional handoffs and align operational capacity with business needs

What We’re Looking For
