Octus seeks an Operations Associate to join the Bogotá-based Global Covenants team. This client-facing role offers early responsibility and exposure to Octus' clients and global teams. You will handle covenant analysis queries, ensure compliance, and support in data-driven projects.

The position suits a detail-oriented, proactive learner eager to grow within financial services, legal operations, and financial data. Office-based work in Bogotá with global collaboration.

Formación

• University degree.
• Excellent organizational and time management with strong attention to detail.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn new processes, tools, and industry concepts.
• Interest in financial services, legal documentation, and/or financial data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients.
• Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems and tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) is a plus; interest in using AI for data extraction and process automation is encouraged

Responsabilidades

• Support and collaborate with Octus legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in NY and London on editorial content and data projects.
• Lead various administrative and operations projects.

Role

The Operations Associate will join Octus Global Covenants team in the Bogota office. This is a client-facing role that offers early responsibility and exposure to Octus's clients and global teams. It will suit an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual who exercises good judgment, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The role is ideal for someone interested in developing their career within financial services, legal operations, and/or financial data.

• Fielding client queries for covenant analysis via email and tracking the status of queries across various Octus teams
• Ensuring strict adherence to compliance processes related to private documents and analysis on them
• Collaborating with our commercial team to provide excellent client service
• Liaising with offshore data team and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives, when required
• Monitoring fixed income deal flow and compiling related documentation
• Supporting and working collaboratively with the Octus legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in New York and London on developing editorial content and data projects
• Collaborating on, and leading various administrative and operations projects
