Octus seeks an Operations Associate to join the Bogotá-based Global Covenants team. This client-facing role offers early responsibility and exposure to Octus' clients and global teams. You will handle covenant analysis queries, ensure compliance, and support in data-driven projects.

The position suits a detail-oriented, proactive learner eager to grow within financial services, legal operations, and financial data. Office-based work in Bogotá with global collaboration.

Formación

• University degree.
• Excellent organizational and time management with strong attention to detail.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn new processes, tools, and industry concepts.
• Interest in financial services, legal documentation, and/or financial data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients.
• Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems and tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) is a plus; interest in using AI for data extraction and process automation is encouraged

Responsabilidades

• Field client queries for covenant analysis via email and track status across Octus teams.
• Ensure compliance processes related to private documents and analyses.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to provide excellent client service.
• Liaise with offshore data team and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives when required.
• Monitor fixed income deal flow and compile related documents.
• Support and collaborate with Octus legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in NY and London on editorial content and data projects.
• Lead various administrative and operations projects.
