Octus, a global provider of credit intelligence and analytics, seeks an Operations Associate for its Bogota office. You will manage covenant analysis queries, ensure compliance on sensitive documents, and work with our commercial and data teams to deliver high-quality client service.

The role offers exposure to international clients and teams, developing careers in financial services, legal operations, and data-driven environments within a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Field client covenant analysis queries via email and track query status across Octus teams.
• Ensure adherence to compliance processes for private documents and analyses.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver excellent client service.
• Maintain internal reporting documentation.
• Coordinate with offshore data teams and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives.
• Monitor fixed income deal flow and compile related documentation.
• Support legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in NY/London on data projects.
• Lead and participate in administrative and operations projects.

Role

The Operations Associate will join Octus Global Covenants team in the Bogota office. This is a client-facing role that offers early responsibility and exposure to Octus's clients and global teams. It will suit an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual who exercises good judgment, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The role is ideal for someone interested in developing their career within financial services, legal operations, and/or financial data.

Responsibilities

• Fielding client queries for covenant analysis via email and tracking the status of queries across various Octus teams
• Ensuring strict adherence to compliance processes related to private documents and analysis on them
• Collaborating with our commercial team to provide excellent client service
• Maintaining internal reporting documentation
• Liaising with offshore data team and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives, when required
• Monitoring fixed income deal flow and compiling related documentation
• Supporting and working collaboratively with the Octus legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in New York and London on developing editorial content and data projects
• Collaborating on, and leading various administrative and operations projects

Requirements

• University degree
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn new processes, tools, and industry concepts
• Interest in financial services, legal documentation, and/or financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients
• Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet client deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems and tools
• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) is a plus; interest in using AI for data extraction and process automation is encouraged
