Celerity Fiber, based in Cali, Colombia, is seeking a NOC Operations Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage network incidents, ensuring service availability and quality. On-site role with full-time employment.

You will handle LAN/WAN, fiber optics, GPON/XGS-PON, and Wi‑Fi problems, while coordinating with carriers and vendors to resolve issues. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in NOC or telecom, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and hands-on monitoring and incident management experience.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, ISP, Telecommunications, or Network Support.
• Hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Routing & Switching, SNMP, Syslog, ICMP.
• Experience with fiber optics, GPON/XGS-PON, OLT/ONT, and Wi‑Fi is required.
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical degree in Telecommunications or related field is required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor infrastructure, services, alarms, and network performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents across LAN, WAN, Internet, fiber optics and Wi-Fi.
• Analyze connectivity, latency, packet loss, and optical signal levels.
• Manage incidents and tickets per procedures and SLAs.
• Escalate and coordinate with Engineering, Field Ops, carriers, and vendors.
• Document incidents, actions, and solutions.
• Support RCA and continuous improvement initiatives.
