Capgemini Engineering LATAM is seeking a Transport Network Operations Specialist (N1.5) to provide advanced technical support for transport networks. You will diagnose complex incidents, correlate alarms, and coordinate with N2/N3 teams and vendors.

Strong knowledge of WDM/DWDM, SDH, and optical technologies is required. The role requires experience with Huawei and Nokia equipment, plus good technical English and collaborative problem-solving under pressure.

Formación

• Solid hands-on experience with WDM/DWDM, SDH and optical network technologies.
• Experience operating Huawei and Nokia equipment families and their management systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport network support or operations, ideally in NOC/SNOC environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse and diagnose incidents escalated by N1 teams, validating severity, scope, topology and network impact.
• Correlate alarms and events across transport network layers to identify primary alarms and root causes.
• Review network performance parameters such as Tx/Rx optical power, BER, Q-factor, interface status and protection health.
• Coordinate resolution activities with N2/N3 engineers, Huawei/Nokia vendors, and field teams.
• Provide guidance to N1 technicians, develop checklists, and support RCA and continuous improvement.
