Lean Solutions Group in Barranquilla, Colombia seeks an experienced LTL Dispatch & Tracking Specialist to coordinate the day-to-day movement of LTL shipments, negotiate rates, and ensure accurate tracking in the TMS.

You will work with carriers, customers, and internal teams to quote, dispatch, track, and deliver freight efficiently, posting loads to load boards and maintaining up-to-date shipment records with attention to detail.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in LTL operations is required.
• Experience in Transportation, Logistics, Freight Brokerage, Dispatch, or Operations.
• Experience dispatching OTR truckloads, partials, and LTL shipments.
• Experience with LTL quoting and freight class calculations.
• Strong experience negotiating rates with carriers.
• Experience working directly with carriers and drivers.
• Experience posting loads to load boards and carrier platforms.
• Hands-on experience using a TMS.
• Strong understanding of shipment details, freight classifications, and transportation processes.
• Ability to identify and resolve shipment discrepancies and operational issues.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and requests simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transportation environment with minimal supervision.
• English level: B2–C1.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support the dispatch of OTR truckloads, partial shipments, and LTL freight.
• Provide LTL and transportation quotes based on customer requirements, carrier rates, freight characteristics, and company profitability.
• Calculate and verify LTL freight classes based on shipment information.
• Negotiate rates and terms directly with carriers to secure competitive transportation solutions.
• Build, update, and maintain loads in the TMS, ensuring shipment information is accurate and complete.
• Post available loads on multiple load boards and carrier platforms to identify qualified carriers.
• Review carrier options and book/assign carriers to available loads.
• Communicate directly with carriers and drivers regarding pickup and delivery requirements, schedules, and shipment updates.
• Monitor shipment status and maintain accurate tracking information in the TMS.
• Review loads for discrepancies related to weight, freight class, reclass, reweight, reconsignment, and accessorial services.
• Identify and resolve delays, missed pickups, delivery issues, and other transportation exceptions.
• Provide customers with timely and accurate shipment updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve operational and customer issues.
• Request and retrieve transportation documentation, including PODs, BOLs, accessorial receipts, and other required documents.
• Monitor shared email inboxes and respond to customer, carrier, and internal requests promptly.
• Redirect requests to the appropriate department when additional support is required.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation within applicable systems.

We are looking for an experienced LTL Dispatch & Tracking Specialist with hands‑on experience in LTL operations and transportation coordination. This role supports the day‑to‑day movement of OTR (Over‑the‑Road) truckloads, partials, and LTL shipments, working directly with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure freight is quoted, dispatched, tracked, and delivered efficiently.
