Lean Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Intermodal Dispatcher in Medellín who will manage drayage moves, port and rail operations, and driver coordination. The role is on-site and Monday–Friday, with close collaboration across Customer Service and Operations teams.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in intermodal dispatch or transportation, strong knowledge of ports and ramps, and experience with dispatch or TMS systems, paired with solid communication and multitasking skills.

• 1+ year of experience in intermodal dispatch or intermodal transportation operations.
• Knowledge of ports, rail ramps, and container flow.
• Experience coordinating drivers, containers, pickups, and deliveries.
• Experience with dispatch or TMS systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with drivers and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Dispatch drivers for port and rail drayage moves, including import/export, live unloads, and drop & hook operations.
• Monitor container availability, terminal status, and appointment schedules.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery windows based on customer requirements.
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and operational changes.
• Track shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Ensure compliance with port and rail requirements, chassis usage, and appointment systems.
• Resolve operational issues such as delays, holds, and documentation problems.
• Maintain accurate load and driver records in TMS systems.
• Optimize routes and driver utilization to improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams.

Intermodal experience is mandatory for this position. Candidates without intermodal experience will not be considered.

• Strong geographical knowledge and routing efficiency.
