Job summary

Generation Colombia is seeking a Mobilization and Program Assistant to support learner recruitment and selection for our programs. The role involves follow-up calls, responding to inquiries, and coordinating interviews and materials for participants.

You will assist with logistics, events, and on-site or virtual support to ensure smooth program delivery. A background in nonprofit environments and Spanish fluency are valued, with English a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in program support or similar nonprofit environment.
• Strong communication skills; fluency in Spanish; English will be a plus.
• Experience developing program procedures and resources with attention to detail.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset to deliver against targets and seek opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Results-driven with ability to quantify success using metrics/analytics.
• Ability to operate independently while being a team player.
• Belief in Generation’s mission and experience with disadvantaged communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make follow-up calls to applicants to ensure progress and address questions about their application.
• Respond to emails and inquiries, resolve or escalate to ensure timely resolution.
• Support participant selection, including profile review, coordination, and interviews per criteria.
• Document each applicant’s status and progress in designated platforms and tools.
• Support logistics, including delivery of computers and resources to selected participants.
• Assist in organizing events or information sessions for potential participants.
• Contribute to learner success and program delivery by collaborating with instructors and Generation teams.
