Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking a remote Government Contracts Account Manager to own a book of federal, state, and local clients across performance periods. You will ensure compliance, drive renewals, and manage recompetes while guiding the onboarding and delivery teams. This role emphasizes strong governance, SLAs, and risk-aware renewal strategies.

You will work with AI-assisted tooling, maintain audit readiness, and cultivate expansion opportunities across language services for government agencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer success, account management, contract management, or program-facing roles serving government clients.
• Direct ownership of retention outcomes (renewals, option years, or recompetes).
• Familiarity with compliance-driven service delivery and government procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-award onboarding and delivery kickoff for new government contracts.
• Manage contract performance: SLAs, reporting, invoicing accuracy, utilization reviews.
• Own option years and recompetes; feed capture team with ground truth for renewals.
• Drive expansion through new task orders, added languages, and BPA usage.
• Conduct quarterly/business reviews with agent-prepared materials.
• Manage escalations with timely, transparent communication; ensure audit readiness.
