Gilat Satellite Networks seeks an on-site Technical Support Engineer for the Americas Region to deliver Tier2 support for Gilat products and third-party solutions. You will handle IP networking, RF and satellite systems, perform upgrades, installations, and site surveys, and drive customer-focused demos.

The role requires 2+ years in a customer-service engineering capacity, strong English, and travel readiness, including abroad.

Formación

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics or Communications Engineering
2+ years as a customer service engineer in a customer environment
Experience with remote connection tools (TeamViewer, VPN, VLC)
Advanced English proficiency
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and analysis tools
Willingness to travel including abroad
Familiarity with VSATs and satellite communications is a plus
Familiarity with Cisco switches and routers

Responsabilidades

Provide technical Support to Gilat customers for Gilat and third-party products (IP Networking, Cellular, RF and Satellite)
Perform software upgrades, onsite installations, site surveys and troubleshooting
Lead worldwide demos related to Gilat’s products and solutions (Americas region)
Prepare analysis reports, technical documents, and training materials
Coordinate customer visits and ensure SLA compliance
Work with ERP Systems (SAP, CRM, SharePoint)
