Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Manager, Payroll Transformation & Process Optimization to lead global payroll design, standardization, and continuous improvement. You will partner with regional teams, Finance, and IT to create scalable, compliant processes that enable efficient payroll execution across countries.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Engineering, Risk, and vendors, driving automation, governance, and data integrity in a dynamic multinational environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in global payroll operations, payroll process design, or shared services.
• Experience designing, standardizing, and governing end-to-end payroll processes in global organizations.
• Knowledge of Workday Payroll and external vendors; experience with automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Understanding of SOX controls, regulatory reviews, and risk management in payroll.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on accuracy and scalability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across regions.
• Enterprise mindset with accountability for process integrity and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Payroll leadership to design and optimize global payroll processes across the lifecycle.
• Develop and align payroll process flows and documentation reflecting global standards and local variations.
• Manage the Payroll Transformation portfolio, including intake, prioritization, and roadmaps.
• Define global vs localization approaches and assess process variation with data-driven recommendations.
• Act as a process design lead for changes, system enhancements, and country implementations.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to automate payroll data flows across Workday, time, benefits, and vendors.
• Support testing with use cases and user testing to validate optimized designs.
• Track process performance metrics and identify future optimization opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure governance, data privacy, and regulatory adherence.
• Assess policy changes, acquisitions, tech advances, and workforce updates for process impact.
