PriceSmart is hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components for enterprise-level retail applications. You will build server-side services with Java, Python, or Node.js, and consume RESTful APIs to support business needs.

You will integrate with microservices, use cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure scalable, secure solutions across omnichannel touchpoints.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in full stack software development, ideally with exposure to retail or e-commerce environments.
• Solid knowledge of front-end and back-end development technologies.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing and application performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and emerging technologies.

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of enterprise-level applications, helping us deliver seamless and innovative omnichannel shopping experiences for our Members.

You will collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, QA teams, and other technology professionals to build scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions using modern development practices and Agile methodologies.

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components for enterprise-level retail applications.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full application stack.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Product Owners, QA teams, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and collaborative development.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and user experience.

AI-Assisted Development

• Leverage AI tools and techniques to support application development and improve productivity.
• Work with AI APIs and contribute to incorporating AI capabilities into front-end and back-end services.
• Apply AI-assisted coding tools responsibly, considering data privacy and responsible AI practices.
