PriceSmart is seeking a Fleet Asset Protection & Safety Supervisor to lead the regional PS MT Fleet Control Tower. You will supervise 24/7 monitoring across 11 countries, ensuring safety, security and operational protocols are followed while supporting business continuity.

You’ll lead incident response, coordinate with local teams, and drive continuous improvement in fleet safety and performance. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Formación

  • Professional degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Systems, Data Analytics or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, Control Tower, monitoring centers, or related operations.
  • 1–2 years of experience leading or supervising teams.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the regional 24/7 monitoring of trucks and drivers using GPS, telematics, dash cameras, and fleet management platforms.
  • Monitor trips, fleet availability, downtime, route deviations, unauthorized stops, driving alerts, and other operational exceptions.
  • Ensure timely identification and management of risks affecting drivers, vehicles, cargo, and operations.
  • Supervise the Control Tower Analyst team and ensure effective handovers between shifts.

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and safety-focused Fleet Asset Protection & Safety Supervisor to lead the regional operation of the PSMT Fleet Control Tower. In this role, you will oversee the 24/7 monitoring of trucks and drivers across 11 countries, ensuring compliance with Safety, Security, and operational protocols while supporting business continuity.

You will be responsible for leading the response and escalation of accidents, emergencies, breakdowns, security incidents, and other critical events. You will also supervise the Control Tower Analyst team, monitor operational exceptions, ensure accurate incident documentation, and generate metrics and KPIs that support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Fleet Monitoring & Operational Control
  • Lead the regional 24/7 monitoring of trucks and drivers using GPS, telematics, dash cameras, and fleet management platforms.
  • Monitor trips, fleet availability, downtime, route deviations, unauthorized stops, driving alerts, and other operational exceptions.
  • Ensure timely identification and management of potential risks affecting drivers, vehicles, cargo, and operations.
  • Maintain control of contingencies and fleet availability to support operational continuity.
Safety, Security & Incident Management
  • Ensure compliance with established Safety, Security, and Compliance protocols.
  • Lead the response, coordination, and escalation of accidents, emergencies, breakdowns, security incidents, and other critical events.
  • Coordinate incidents with local teams, Security, Safety, and PSMT Fleet Management according to established protocols.
  • Provide timely support and guidance to drivers during operational or emergency situations.
  • Ensure proper documentation, follow‑up, investigation, and closure of incidents.
Team Leadership & Operational Continuity
  • Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate the Fleet Control Tower Analyst team.
  • Ensure effective communication and handover between shifts in a 24/7 operation.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with established procedures and service levels.
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the Control Tower operation.
  • Monitor and report key operational indicators including trip compliance, fleet availability, downtime, incidents, alerts, and operational exceptions.
  • Prepare and review reports required by the department.
  • Analyze operational data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development and monitoring of KPIs to improve fleet safety, security, compliance, and operational performance.
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)
  • Professional degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, Control Tower, monitoring centers, or related operations.
  • 1–2 years of experience leading or supervising teams.
  • Experience with GPS, telematics, dash cameras, fleet management systems, or monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Security, Compliance, and incident management processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, particularly in high‑pressure situations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and critical incident management skills.
  • English B2 or higher is desirable.
  • Availability to support a regional 24/7 operation.
