Job summary

Turing, based remotely, is seeking a Research Engineer to help deliver frontier-quality datasets, RL environments, and evaluations that improve state-of-the-art models for leading AI labs and enterprise clients. This hands-on leadership role collaborates with customer researchers and engineers to translate goals into data specs and drive the production of high-quality data with rigorous evaluation.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience building or improving deep learning systems with data quality at the core.
• Ability to translate research goals into concrete data specifications and edge cases.
• Strong attention to detail in diagnosing data quality issues and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Own data and environment quality from an AI researcher perspective and define what good looks like with rubrics and boundary cases.
• Design and build datasets and RL environments for capability areas such as coding/SWE agents, RL environments, multimodality, STEM, and embodied AI.
• Build automated validation, denoising, and synthetic data systems to improve signal-to-noise and reduce leakage.
