Job summary

Inchcape Digital, part of the Inchcape global network, seeks a Finance Associate to support procurement and accounting operations in a hybrid Bogota setting. You will strengthen controls, manage procure-to-pay cycles, and analyze financial data with advanced Excel tools.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business/finance, 2+ years experience, and English at B1 level. You will collaborate across Controllership, shared services, and auditors to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration, accounting, or finance.
• 2+ years in administrative, accounting, or financial roles.
• English proficiency at B1 level.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• SAP knowledge preferred; experience with account reconciliation tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end indirect procurement process: POs, supplier mgmt, quotes, contracts, and procure-to-pay activities.
• Maintain supplier records, monitor delivery, resolve inquiries, and ensure transactions are on time.
• Implement procurement controls, ensure policy compliance, and support audits.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and prepayments.
• Perform financial and variance analysis, support budgets and cost controls, coordinate supplier prepayments and invoice processing.
• Develop procurement and finance reports and dashboards using Excel and digital tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on special projects and continuous improvement.

Our Finance team is looking for a Finance Associate to support our finance operations, strengthen controls, and contribute to efficient procurement and accounting processes across the business.

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end indirect procurement process, including purchase orders, supplier management, quotations, contract compliance, and procure-to-pay activities.
• Maintain supplier records, monitor goods and service delivery, resolve supplier inquiries, and ensure procurement transactions are completed accurately and on time.
• Implement and monitor procurement controls, ensure compliance with company policies and approval workflows, and support internal and external audits.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare accounting documents such as journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and prepayment amortizations, and support month-end close activities.
• Perform financial and variance analysis, support budget management and cost control initiatives, and coordinate supplier prepayments and invoice processing.
• Develop and maintain procurement and finance reports, dashboards, and analyses using Excel and digital tools while identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, shared services, Controllership, auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in administrative, accounting, or financial roles.
• English proficiency (B1 level).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• SAP knowledge is preferred; experience with account reconciliation tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
