Job summary

Inchcape Digital is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity posture and protect critical systems. You will implement and optimize security controls, collaborate with SOC, Threat, and GRC teams, and mentor junior engineers to build a high-performing security practice.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT, 5+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on expertise with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms.
• Experience managing email security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IPS/IDS, WAF, and SASE technologies.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Self-motivated with the ability to design and propose solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage technical security controls to enhance Inchcape's cybersecurity posture.
• Administer and optimize security technologies, ensuring protection against emerging and existing threats identified by SOC and Threat teams.
• Troubleshoot security-related issues and work closely with IT Operations to resolve incidents in line with SLAs.
• Ensure security solutions comply with security standards and partner with the GRC team to address risks and non-compliance findings.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and reporting on system availability, utilization, and performance.
• Collaborate with SOC and Threat teams to continuously identify, prioritize, and implement security improvements.
• Mentor and support junior Security Engineers while contributing to a high-performing security team.
