Job summary

PriceSmart, Inc. in Bogotá, Colombia seeks a proactive Document Specialist Supervisor to lead and manage the Document Specialists (DS I and DS II) in Colombia. You will oversee documentation workflows supporting Buying and Logistics, ensuring agility and accuracy while driving continuous improvement.

You will partner with Assistant Buyers and Buyers, oversee hiring, training, and workload distribution, and coach the team to achieve high performance. A travel requirement of up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in documentation, buying support, logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Document Specialists (DS I and DS II).
• Conduct weekly planning meetings to assign tasks and review progress.
• Ensure workload balance and adequate coverage across categories and regions.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports employee development and growth.
• Oversee documentation workflows related to item setup, vendor onboarding, compliance, and product registration.
• Monitor documentation turnaround times and error rates and ensure compliance with processes.
