Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle in Colombia. The role reports to the HR Manager, Colombia, and will coordinate onboarding, records, payroll inputs, leave administration, training coordination, and offboarding for Colombia-based staff and LATAM consultants.

The position emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and excellent people skills, with regular in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Law, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist, HR operations, or employee lifecycle experience.
• Experience supporting onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, leave, employee records, training coordination, and offboarding.
• Experience in a multinational, fast-growth, staffing, professional-services, or shared-services environment is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, Deel, learning-management systems, process documentation, and HR system implementation projects is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding workflow for internal employees, including intake, pre-employment requirements, first-day readiness, and onboarding checklist completion.
• Coordinate employment documentation, background checks, medical-exam logistics, payroll inputs, system requests, office access, and employee communications.
• Maintain onboarding trackers and personnel-file documentation; escalate delays or compliance risks promptly.
• Support Welcome Day planning, including materials, presentations, logistics, speakers, and welcome kits.
• Coordinate leave, vacation, absence, and parental-leave administration; ensure documentation and timely stakeholder communication.
