Octus is seeking a Research Associate to support its Global Covenants team in Bogotá, focusing on US leverage finance and high yield markets. The role emphasizes using AI in legal research and analysis and requires strong English language skills and finance literacy.

The position is hybrid, with collaboration across international teams. You will assist senior lawyers, manage multiple research tasks, and contribute to covenant analyses while learning Octus' proprietary databases and tools.

Formación

• Requires law degree or equivalent, with four years post-qualification experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills, and experience in finance, capital markets, or related fields.
• Experience with AI tools and ability to evaluate AI output for quality and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior lawyers in Global Covenants with day-to-day research, drafting, and analysis.
• Develop knowledge of Octus' Global Covenants offering and related processes and technology.
• Conduct legal research on leveraged finance, private credit, and high yield instruments; update covenant analyses as needed.
• Support data extraction and trend analysis using proprietary databases and AI tools.
• Assist with sales and marketing activities, webinars, and training for the Global Covenants team.
