Talento is seeking a Mid-Level Carrier Sales Representative to join a busy 3PL freight brokerage team in Colombia. You will manage day-to-day carrier sales activities, source and cover loads, and build strong carrier partnerships to ensure dependable capacity and high service levels.

You will negotiate rates and lanes, onboard new carriers, and coordinate with sales and operations to execute shipments. Proven experience in carrier sales and freight brokerage is essential for success in this

• 2–3 years of direct experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics operations.
• Experience with booking, covering, and tracking loads across multiple freight modes.
• Knowledge of negotiating rates, lanes, and terms with carriers.
• Familiarity with carrier onboarding, vetting, and compliance requirements.

At Talento, we're looking for a Mid-Level Carrier Sales Representative with solid experience in transportation operations, load coverage, and carrier negotiation, to join a dynamic team within a high-volume freight brokerage operation.

• Manage day-to-day carrier sales activities within a 3PL/freight brokerage environment, supporting fast-paced and high-volume freight operations.
• Source, book, and cover loads with qualified carriers across different freight modalities, including dry van, reefer, flatbed, LTL/FTL, and other shipment types as needed.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to secure dependable capacity, improve service levels, and support long‑term carrier partnerships.
• Negotiate rates, lanes, and shipment terms with carriers while balancing cost, service requirements, urgency, and customer expectations.
• Onboard, vet, and qualify new carriers according to company standards, insurance requirements, compliance procedures, and operational needs.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to execute shipments, resolve exceptions, and ensure accurate communication throughout the load lifecycle.
• Track shipments, confirm pick-up and delivery updates, and proactively address delays, service failures, carrier issues, or last‑minute coverage needs.
• Use load boards, TMS platforms, carrier portals, and industry tools to identify capacity, manage bookings, and support carrier procurement.
• Monitor carrier performance and logistics metrics to improve coverage efficiency, service quality, and operational results.
• 2–3 years of direct experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics operations, preferably within a 3PL environment.
• Hands‑on experience working with carriers to book, cover, and track loads across multiple freight modalities.
• Strong knowledge of different load types and transportation modes, including FTL, LTL, dry van, reefer, flatbed, and specialized freight as applicable.
• Experience using DAT, Highway, TMS platforms, carrier portals, or similar tools for carrier sourcing, booking, tracking, and freight management.
• Understanding of carrier onboarding, vetting, compliance requirements, insurance validation, and carrier relationship management.
• Ability to manage multiple loads at the same time, prioritize urgent coverage needs, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced brokerage setting.
