Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling patients, verifying insurance information, and ensuring a smooth front-office experience for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound and outbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks prior to patient visits.
• Accurately enter and update patient information in the electronic medical records system.
• Utilize ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) software for scheduling and documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with other front-office duties as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in a USA medical front desk or patient scheduling role is required.
• Proficiency with ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) is required and non-negotiable.
• Prior experience in a dermatology or plastic surgery practice is mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time‑management abilities.
• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
