Job summary

Rockwell Automation, Inc. is seeking a Bid Specialist to lead the bidding process for Process Automation Solutions, from initial engagement to contract signing. You will craft technical and commercial proposals, validate solutions, and support the sales team across the lifecycle.

You will work with Solution Consultants, Sales, Engineering, and partners to develop winning bids, identify risks, and maximize profitability in a hybrid Bogota, Colombia role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in large industrial systems and automation solutions delivery.
• 3+ years of experience in project execution related to industrial automation.
• Experience as a Proposal Engineer or Proposal Consultant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the bidding process for Process Automation Solutions from initial customer engagement through contract signing.
• Develop and create proposal documents for automation solutions and evaluate customer RFQs to position Rockwell Automation competitively.
• Validate and endorse the technical aspects of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, Project Management, Engineering teams, and third-party suppliers to develop accurate proposals.
