Slalom is seeking an Amazon Connect Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Enterprise Capability team. You will design and implement end-to-end contact center solutions, leveraging Amazon Connect and related AWS services, guiding clients from discovery through deployment and post-go-live support.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architecture and best practices, and help clients accelerate value with AI-powered capabilities while enhancing customer experiences.

Formación

• Experience designing, implementing, or supporting contact center solutions.
• Hands-on Amazon Connect and AWS services experience.
• 2+ years consulting or stakeholder-facing experience.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts for contact centers.
• Proficiency in Python/Node.js.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of IVR self-service, chat bots, and call analytics.
• Active AWS certifications or ability to obtain them.
• Desire to learn and share knowledge.

Who You’ll Work With

Our Amazon Connect experts excel in driving customer transformation through the development of distinctive experiences and the application of digital technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from contact center migrations to enabling Agentic AI capabilities. We are seeking a passionate Amazon Connect Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with clients and teammates to define technical designs to meet business objectives.
• Build custom components and/or configure Amazon Connect.
• Execute testing to validate built work product performs as expected and meets security requirements.
• Create, support, and/or utilize DevOps tooling, including infrastructure as code.
• Participate in deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, including architecture and workflow diagrams.
• Work closely with others, including designers, developers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders, to meet project timeline and quality objectives.
• Provide Amazon Connect technical and functional expertise to sales teams, project teams, and customers.
• Support the development of case studies, demos, and training materials.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on contact center best practices, industry trends, and AWS capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in designing, implementing, or supporting contact center solutions, including hands‑on experience with Amazon Connect and supporting AWS services (e.g., Lex, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation).
• 2+ years of consulting experience, or equivalent experience working directly with stakeholders to understand and achieve business goals.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts and capabilities, especially as related to contact center use cases.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages, such as Python/Node.js.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with contact center technology features, such as IVR self‑service, chat bots, & call analytics.
• Active AWS certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
• A desire to continually learn new skills and share your knowledge with others.
