JAS Worldwide, located in Colombia, is searching for a Special Account Specialist to be the main customer contact for operations. This role involves ensuring effective communication and support between internal departments and clients, managing customer inquiries, and driving revenue growth through cross-selling initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced English skills and at least two years of experience in customer service or inside sales. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Special Account Specialist is the main contact whit the customer from OPS and is responsible to follow-up and requestor of all duties related to the account prospect that occur in the special account portfolio, interphase OPS and M&S.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for all communication between the various departments within the company and its customers
• To solve and support duties in the interphase of Customer service or operations and Sales.
• To ensure of volumes growth and GP implementing cross-selling initiatives.
• Drive better overall sales and marketing intelligence/insight into their target of accounts assigned.
• Acquire new traffics import, export, and additionally local services; post landing, customs clearance and spot business opportunities.
• Drive new revenue streams through better execution on of their marketing & lead generation campaigns and programs into the target assigned
• Take marketing operational costs out of their business, thus, driving better marketing ROI. Confers with operations clerk to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
• Compiles statistics and prepares accuracy data or M&S about their target.
• Analyzes complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation, updating customers on a timely basis.
• Provides back up support for all accounts included in their target.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Excel and operational system (C1, forward, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in Customer service or inside sales.

ENVIRONMENT

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to__ %) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds. This position requires employee to frequently work in a fluid, fast paced environment.
