CMA CGM is looking for an organized Accounts Payable Analyst to manage processes in Bogotá, Colombia. This role involves coordination with GBS offices in India and Malaysia, ensuring timely payments to suppliers while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a University Degree in Finance or Administration and 3-5 years of experience in similar positions, ideally with knowledge in shipping. A B1/B2 English level is mandatory, with strong Excel and financial software skills.

Accounts Payable Analyst - Colombia

We are seeking for an organized, responsible person to administer the Accounts Payable processes in Colombia. Based in Bogotá, she or he will need to interact with different stakeholders to perform his/her duties, including the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the CFO, and more importantly with the GBS offices located in India and Malaysia. She/he will be the local point of contact for suppliers.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate the payment process to suppliers with the GBS in India, ensuring the correct and timely recording of business transactions (invoices and payments), reporting to management and analysis of financial information.
• Ensure the timely resolution of exceptions (RFI) in the booking and invoice approval processes, following up with the different stakeholders/teams.
• Prepare weekly Cash Flow Forecast. Monitor cash positions, identify risks and opportunities and communicate accordingly.
• Hold regular meetings with vendors, as needed to solve discrepancies.
• Other tasks as requested or required by the position to be filled.

Requirements for Applying

• University Degree in Finance, Administration or related.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in similar positions. Experience in shipping is a plus.
• B1/B2 certified English level is a must.
• Experience working in matrix structures and/or GBS is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software. Experience with AI solutions is a plus.
