A leading cruise line is seeking a 2nd Commis Chef to join their team onboard. This position requires prior work experience in a galley environment with a strong command of English. The successful candidate will be responsible for various kitchen duties including maintaining cleanliness and assisting the Sous Chef. Formación

• 1 year of prior work experience in a Galley environment and good knowledge of English is essential.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
• Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Familiarizes with USPH regulations and carries out job functions accordingly.
• Responsible for collection and correct storage of provision orders.
• Assists the Sous Chef in maintaining cleanliness of the Galley.

Conocimientos

Prior work experience in a Galley environment

Good knowledge of English

Basic food preparation knowledge

Knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations

Educación

Basic training in Galley department
