Beijing Foreign Enterprise Management Consultants Co.,Ltd. in Chile seeks a Wireless Network Optimization Engineer to boost 4G/5G performance and user experience using SmartCare-based CEM.

You will analyze 4G LTE and 5G NR performance, develop KPIs, and collaborate with operators and cross-functional teams to implement optimization solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in Wireless/Mobile Network Optimization (4G/LTE and/or 5G NR).
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, RF optimization, network performance, and signaling.
• Experience analyzing network KPIs such as accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, coverage, and capacity.
• Experience with CEM/SmartCare platforms, OSS performance management systems, or similar network analytics solutions.
• Experience with drive test and network optimization tools such as TEMS, NEMO.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based analytics tools.
• Knowledge of optimization parameters including handover, power control, load balancing, interference mitigation, and network capacity.
• Experience working with major telecommunications vendors such as Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, or ZTE is a plus.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory for collaboration with global technical teams and international stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and optimize 4G LTE and 5G NR network performance, addressing coverage, capacity, mobility, accessibility, and throughput.
• Leverage the SmartCare platform to transform network data into actionable CEM insights.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and KQIs to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Analyze network performance trends and traffic patterns to identify opportunities in urban and industrial areas.
• Investigate interference, handover failures, coverage, and capacity; recommend optimization strategies.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and support multi-vendor network troubleshooting.
• Use SQL and data visualization tools to analyze large datasets and present trends.
• Support the implementation of optimization solutions and integration with OSS performance management systems.
• Collaborate with planning, RF, transmission, core network, and customer teams; translate findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with data-driven feedback to regional/global teams.

Wireless Network Optimization Engineer – SmartCare

On behalf of a world-leading ICT Solutions Provider, we are seeking a Wireless Network Optimization Engineer – SmartCare to join our Service & Software Group in Chile.

This role is focused on the performance, quality, and user experience of 4G/5G wireless networks through advanced network optimization, data analytics, and SmartCare-based Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions. The position will work closely with major telecommunications operators, leveraging network data to identify performance issues, generate actionable insights, and drive continuous network improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize 4G LTE and 5G NR network performance, identifying issues related to coverage, capacity, mobility, accessibility, retainability, throughput, and user experience.
• Leverage the SmartCare platform to transform large volumes of network data into actionable insights for Customer Experience Management (CEM).
• Develop and monitor KPIs and Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) to identify network degradation, bottlenecks, and potential optimization opportunities.
• Analyze network performance trends and traffic patterns to identify optimization opportunities across high‑traffic urban and industrial areas.
• Investigate complex issues related to interference, handover failures, coverage, capacity, and network quality, recommending appropriate optimization strategies.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and support multi‑vendor network troubleshooting to ensure network stability and continuous improvement.
• Use SQL and data visualization tools to analyze large datasets and present network performance trends and optimization insights.
• Support the implementation of optimization solutions and the integration of SmartCare insights with existing OSS/performance management systems.
• Work with network planning, RF, transmission, core network, and customer‑facing teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Translate technical and analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide data-driven feedback to regional and global technical teams.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Wireless/Mobile Network Optimization, particularly in 4G LTE and/or 5G NR environments.
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, RF optimization, network performance, and signaling flows.
• Experience analyzing network KPIs such as accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, coverage, and capacity.
• Experience with CEM/SmartCare platforms, OSS performance management systems, or similar network analytics solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with drive test and network optimization tools, such as TEMS, NEMO, or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based analytics tools.
• Knowledge of optimization parameters including handover, power control, load balancing, interference mitigation, and network capacity.
