Job summary

Hai Robotics seeks a customer-focused Solutions Engineer to design and deliver warehouse automation solutions for the LATAM region. You will act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and internal teams to translate requirements into scalable automation solutions.

In this role you will lead solution design, develop technical docs and presentations, perform system analyses, and collaborate across functions to ensure feasibility and successful project delivery while traveling ~30-50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Computer Science, Electromechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse automation or related industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software for layout design.
• Knowledge of WMS, WCS, or WES systems.
• Understanding of AGV, AMR technologies and DevOps philosophies.
• Experience with mechanical design and simulation tools.

We are seeking a customer-focused Solutions Engineer to design and deliver innovative warehouse automation solutions that address complex operational challenges in our LATAM region. This role serves as the technical liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable automation solutions.

The Solutions Engineer will lead solution design, develop technical documentation and presentations, conduct system analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful project delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Interface & Solution Exchange

• Serve as the technical interface between customers and the company
• Enhance customer recognition of our solutions and actively guide customers to choose recommended solutions
• Understand customer business data, warehouse workflows/tasks, and customer requirements

Solution Design & Development

• Receive preliminary research information and solution requests from sales teams
• Conduct research on customer requirements and collect relevant data for analysis
• Formulate solution outlines based on customer requirements and evaluate product selection
• Design layouts using HAI Robotics products and other required components
• Collaborate with network, electrical, fire protection, and safety engineers to complete solution layout design
• Calculate workstation productivity and robot tote movement efficiency, as well as corresponding supporting equipment resources

Technical Documentation & Presentation

• Lead the output of competitive solutions and related technical documentation
• Create layout drawings, PowerPoint presentations, equipment lists, technical bid documents, and Statements of Work (SoW)
• Prepare solution presentation materials and pricing for customers and sales teams

Internal Coordination & Resource Management

• Coordinate cross-functional resources to drive solution feasibility reviews across technical, solution, and cost domains
• Collaborate with software, delivery, supply chain, and other departments
• Participate in contract negotiations at the customer interface, clarifying responsibility scope and technical requirements
• Output project handover materials meeting internal quality requirements
• Organize completion of solution handovers and support project teams during delivery
• Identify and document solution-related risks and assumptions in projects
• Develop risk control measures and ensure proper closure of risk management processes

Market Support & Knowledge Sharing

• Support marketing and other departments in creating case studies and analytical materials
• Share knowledge of industry trends and customer requirements with product development teams

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Computer Science, Electromechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related field

Required Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse automation or related industries
• Experience in solution design, data analysis, and optimization for warehouse automation systems

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for layout design
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), or warehouse execution systems (WES)
• Understanding of AGV, ACR, AMR technologies and DevOps philosophies
• Experience with mechanical design and simulation tools
