You will design and implement SAM Pro configurations, entitlements, and discovery patterns, while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to automate license workflows.

The role requires hands-on ServiceNow expertise, strong JavaScript skills, and experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and data loads.

Formación

• Proficiency with ServiceNow platform modules and JavaScript APIs.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP and Integration Hub.
• Knowledge of data ingestion using Transform Maps and bulk entitlement loading.
• Certifications: ServiceNow CSA and CIS-SAM are preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

• SAM Pro Implementation: Design and configure the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including entitlements, software models, and discovery patterns.
• Tier-1 Publisher Management: Utilize and customize specialized Publisher Packs to manage complex licensing for:
  • Microsoft: Manage Office 365 SaaS consumption, SQL Server core-based licensing, and Windows Server infrastructure reports.
  • Oracle: Configure database cluster views, manage Oracle-specific reconciliation, and generate Effective License Position (ELP) reports.
  • IBM: Integrate with IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) to track PVU-based licensing and ensure compliance for IBM software products.
• Shopping Cart & Procurement:
  • Integrate SAM with ServiceNow Shopping Hub and Service Catalog to automate software requests.
  • Develop workflows that automate license reclamation and software deployment upon catalog approval.
  • Configure Asset Management-Procurement Integration to automate entitlement creation from purchase orders.
• Optimization & Compliance: Develop dashboards and automated "reclamation candidates" to identify underutilized software for cost savings.

What Experience You Need

• ServiceNow Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript (ServiceNow API), Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Integrations: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub to connect with external vendor portals and inventory tools.
• Data Management: Skilled in using Transform Maps and Data Loads to ingest bulk entitlement data from legacy systems.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-SAM).

What Could Set You Apart

• SaaS Management: Direct experience with SaaS License Management for cloud-based vendors.
• Frameworks: Solid knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks, particularly Service Request and Asset Management
