Thoughtworks is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, develop, and optimize platform infrastructure that enables high-scale software delivery. The focus is on improving Developer Experience by building robust tools, systems, and processes, while guiding automation, security, and scalability across teams.

You will own critical platform components, lead CI/CD and IaC initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive DevOps/GitOps adoption across the organization.

Formación

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
• Strong microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• Deep expertise with GCP cloud platform, including serverless and VPC networking.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and related orchestration tools.
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• IaC with Terraform or Deployment Manager; strong DevOps/GitOps background.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Lead design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automation and fast feedback loops.
• Ensure platform high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive fixes.
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools.
• Advance Infrastructure as Code for scalable resource management.
• Lead DevOps and GitOps initiatives across the organization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Propose and execute platform optimization balancing cost and performance.
