Thoughtworks is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Chile to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure. You will contribute to developer experience by building robust tools, automation, and security practices.

The role emphasizes leadership in DevOps, GitOps, and cross‑functional collaboration in a Latin American team. The ideal candidate has deep GCP expertise (Cloud Run/Functions, VPC), strong Python/Go/Bash coding, and proven experience with CI/CD and IaC.

Formación

• Advanced English communication and collaboration across international teams.
• Senior platform experience with design, development and optimization of cloud infra.
• Strong background in microservices, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• Proven IaC usage (Terraform or Deployment Manager) and DevOps/GitOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Lead design and management of scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automation and fast feedback loops.
• Ensure high availability and performance of the platform.
• Mentor juniors and drive platform optimization with cost-performance balance.
