Checkr, a US-based data platform company headquartered in the United States, is hiring a Sr Software Engineer in Santiago, Chile. The role focuses on advancing the platform, modernizing the tech stack, and delivering scalable capabilities with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with product teams to shape roadmaps, guide junior engineers, and participate in engineering improvements across the organization.

Formación

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Solid CS fundamentals: databases, data structures, algorithms, REST APIs.
• Proficiency in React.
• Experience in domain modeling, object design, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to write clear, tested code.
• Ability to estimate projects and make informed trade-offs.
• Draft and review technical proposals with trade-offs.
• Strong ownership across the development lifecycle.
• Desire to collaborate and share knowledge within the org.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new platform capabilities and products from design through launch.
• Balance speed to market with long-term growth, designing with foresight.
• Collaborate with Product to define initiatives and roadmap.
• Maintain reliability, participate in on-call rotations and address requests.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team improvements.
• Drive continuous engineering improvements and measure impact.
