Checkr, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to integrate a recently acquired background check product into the Checkr ecosystem in Santiago, Chile. The role involves overseeing the integration of new solutions and developing a comprehensive identity verification platform.

The candidate should have over 10 years of experience, advanced English skills, and be passionate about mentoring junior engineers. This position includes hybrid work options with significant responsibilities in product development.

Formación

• 10+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Experience with running Scrum rituals.
• Passion for mentoring more junior engineers.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Own product development from ideation to release.
• Collaborate with engineers and product manager on system design.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code.
