International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is seeking an Operations Engineer to optimize plant performance on the Pargua site, near Puerto Montt, Chile.

The role blends hands-on manufacturing with data analytics, collaborating with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Digital Transformation teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency. The role operates on a hybrid model (three days onsite, two days remote) and focuses on root-cause analysis, process stabilization and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing data and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and report OEE, yield and throughput.
• Identify constraints and drive improvements on the plant floor.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Lead process optimization initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Support MES, TrakSYS and analytics initiatives with data-driven insights.
