Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Mine Closure Project Manager to be based in Santiago de Chile. You will lead mine closure planning, remediation, and reclamation projects, delivering integrated solutions for clients in the private and public sectors while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and develop new opportunities across LATAM, collaborating with hydrologists, geotechnical engineers, and surface water specialists

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental engineering and 8+ years in mine closure, remediation, or reclamation.
Proficient with MS Office; Excel and Word.
Master’s Degree in a relevant field and 15+ years of mine closure/remediation experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement mine closure plans and remediation solutions for LATAM clients.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and specialists to meet regulatory requirements.
Manage project scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
Prepare proposals, deliver projects, and review regulatory reports.
Engage in client relations and business development activities.
