Prodapt Solutions Private Limited in Chile seeks a storage engineering specialist responsible for design, implementation, and daily administration of enterprise storage platforms that support OSS/BSS systems, video content, and core IT workloads, ensuring high availability across a large telecom environment.

You will manage SAN/NAS/object storage, perform capacity forecasting, migrations, DR drills, backup operations, and integrate with VMware/Windows/Linux, with a focus on encryption and

Formación

• Hands-on enterprise storage administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAN (Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI) and NAS (NFS, SMB).
• Experience with major storage platforms (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure).
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms and their storage integration.
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and incident/change management.
• English communication; Spanish helpful for Chile-based client environment.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SAN/NAS/object storage across environments.
• Design and implement storage provisioning, zoning, LUN masking, replication, and tiering.
• Plan storage capacity forecasting and growth in coordination with teams.
• Lead storage migrations, firmware upgrades, and platform refresh activities.
• Own backup and DR operations, including DR drills and restore testing.
• Monitor storage health and performance using enterprise tools; remediate bottlenecks.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes per ITIL and client SLAs.
• Collaborate on data-at-rest encryption and access controls with security teams.
• Support integration with VMware/Hyper-V, Linux/Windows, and cloud storage.
• Develop automation scripts/runbooks to streamline storage ops and reporting.
