BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (Storage) to design and maintain high-performance distributed storage systems. You will bridge low-level system engineering with scalable data management, ensuring durability and availability at scale.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focusing on storage systems.
• Expertise in distributed storage using C/C++, Go, or Rust.
• Hands-on with distributed file systems and object stores (Ceph, MinIO).
• Understanding of data durability, consistency models, and replication strategies.
• Experience building large-scale block storage architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable distributed storage solutions using C++, Go, or Rust.
• Architect object and file storage systems for high availability at petabyte scale.
• Optimize durability and consistency models to maintain data integrity.
• Develop robust replication strategies to guard against failures.
• Collaborate with infra teams to integrate block storage into cloud-native ecosystem.
• Profile and tune storage engine internals for throughput.
