Job summary

HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce growth and profitability. You will divide time between HoopStars operations and building the parent company’s marketing team across brands. Remote from LATAM with Toronto hours, relocation to US/Canada possible by mutual agreement.

You should turn advertising into customers, improve conversion, and manage budgets and performance while developing the team and delivery capacity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results driving paid acquisition and retention.
• Experience scaling ecommerce and service businesses.
• Proven ability to hire and manage marketers and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars’ marketing plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Lead sales, operations, and customer experience initiatives.
• Build and manage the parent marketing team across brands.
• Align campaign performance with customer acquisition and profitability.
• Oversee reporting, testing and continuous improvement.
