Job summary

Dias Geophysical Limited is seeking a Project Manager to join the Operations Team. The role focuses on geophysical project delivery, coordinating costs, schedules, and field execution with a strong emphasis on safety and client communication.

The candidate will lead field teams, ensure budget adherence, and collaborate across HSE, logistics, and HR. The position is primarily office-based in Chile with periodic field travel for project oversight and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in geophysics project delivery or similar.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• PMP certification is a strong asset.
• Experience leading field teams in a mineral exploration environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Costing & Scope Alignment: Develop project budgets, review client requirements, and ensure alignment between scope, resources, and operational feasibility.
• Project Preparation & Planning: Work with HSE, logistics, warehouse and HR to ensure readiness during pre-mobilization.
• Field Implementation Oversight: Support field crews during mobilization and execution, ensuring safety and adherence to plans.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborate with operations, technical, and leadership teams to maintain momentum and resolve issues.
• Project Wrap-Up & Closeout: Coordinate demobilization, lessons learned, and handoff for data processing and modelling teams.
• Client Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Safety Leadership: Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Training: Identify and develop training opportunities with HSE and operations teams.
