Wabtec Corporation seeks an experienced field service engineer to provide technical leadership and on-site support for OHV Drive Systems across Chile and neighboring territories. You will oversee commissioning, diagnose issues, and drive continuous improvement with customers, OEMs and engineering teams.
The role requires frequent travel up to 80% and a hybrid work model combining remote and on-site presence.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation & Control or related field.
- Alternatively, a technical diploma with 5+ years OHV field experience.
- Experience with OHV design, validation, testing, and field support.
- Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
- English proficiency preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Perform commissioning and startup activities for OHV Drive Systems.
- Diagnose issues via on-site inspections and remote support.
- Monitor fleet performance and coordinate corrective actions.
- Submit field reports and warranty assessments in approved systems.
- Coordinate RMA shipments for analysis.
