Bradken is seeking a Field Technical Support Engineer - Product Development to bridge on-site mine operations with our SAM engineering team. This fully remote role requires regular travel to North of Chile mine sites to gather data, perform wear analyses, and support new design validation.

You will lead field inspections, coordinate with Central Engineering, and contribute to high-value engineering solutions while upholding safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in mining operations, concentrator plants, metallurgy, or related heavy industries.
• Proven experience in field inspections, shutdown support, and mill liner wear assessment.
• Knowledge of design, 3D modeling, and engineering simulation tools; experience in 3D scanning, point cloud capture and processing, dimensional surveys and field measurements.
• Willingness to travel to mine sites (including high altitude).
• Professional English level is desirable for collaboration with global teams.

Responsabilidades

• Execute technical inspections, wear assessments, and mill liner scanning during shutdowns and campaigns.
• Gather critical technical data on-site and liaise with Central Engineering for performance analysis and design optimization.
• Support technical investigations and root cause analysis related to product performance and field conditions.
• Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing field presence, delivering on-site engineering support with a multidisciplinary team.
• Guarantee a 360° safety culture by complying with health and safety standards in all field activities.
