Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Area Head MCL WCSA to own the P&L and lead operations for the MCL product in the assigned area. You will drive growth, lead product development, and ensure operational excellence while engaging with regional and global stakeholders.

Strong leadership, financial acumen, and advanced English and Spanish are required; postgraduate specialization in logistics is preferred. This role reports into the Maersk Contract Logistics leadership in the WCSA region.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, or container logistics.
• Proven track record managing P&L and driving commercial growth.
• Strong experience in product development, operations, and customer-facing roles.
• Leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Advanced English and Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Area MCL P&L and financial performance.
• Drive commercial pipeline development and expand footprint with profitability.
• Lead product development initiatives aligned with regional strategy and customer needs.
• Ensure delivery accountability and operational excellence across MCL activities.
• Oversee contract management, governance, and customer requirements.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, including pricing and cost modeling.
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Engage as a senior stakeholder in large opportunities and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders to align strategy and drive improvements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery excellence; act as escalation point.
