Job summary

Our client, a leading global consumer goods business, is rebuilding its supply chain to be faster, leaner and more resilient. It seeks a VP to lead end-to-end European supply chain, reporting to the COO and collaborating with Commercial, Finance and Manufacturing to keep products on shelf and costs under control.

You will oversee demand and supply planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, logistics, customer service, and AI-enabled forecasting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in supply chain, with at least 3 in senior leadership.
• Background in FMCG, food and beverage, personal care or similar fast-moving consumer environments.
• Record of improving service levels, working capital or total cost.
• Confidence managing large retail customers, seasonal peaks and promotional volatility.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end European supply chain including demand and supply planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, logistics and customer service.
• Drive retailer and e-commerce service levels (OTIF, fill rate, speed to shelf).
• Oversee network redesign: DC footprint, co-manufacturer strategy and cost-to-serve.
• Advance S&OP maturity and AI-enabled demand forecasting.
• Manage a multi-country team of 100-150 and develop future leaders.
