Job summary

VAT Group in Switzerland seeks a Key Account Supply Chain Manager to lead customer-facing supply chain activities and strategies across product lines. You will drive KPIs, perform analyses, and work with global teams to ensure excellent service and optimized inventory and forecasting.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or customer service in a global setting, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Power BI and ERP systems. Fluency in English is essential, with German a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or customer service within a global organization (high-tech or semiconductor industry preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven execution capability.
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory) and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers on operational supply chain topics.
• Ensure execution of defined supply chain strategies across all product lines.
• Support the Global Account Supply Chain Manager (GASCM) with analysis, scenario modeling, and business reviews.
• Create, manage, and analyze KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, Lead Time, Inventory, Forecast Accuracy).
• Provide performance insights and track improvement actions.
• Monitor supply chain performance via control tower tools to identify risks and opportunities.
• Orchestrate internal supply chain functions to meet customer needs.
• Manage and execute supply chain agreements (e.g., consignment, stocking programs).
• Act as the first point of escalation for operational supply chain issues.

Purpose of the role

• As a Key Account Supply Chain Manager, you will be a customer-facing supply chain expert responsible for managing relationships with assigned key accounts and supporting global account strategies.
• You will work in a dynamic, global environment requiring strong analytical skills, agility, and a proactive mindset to drive customer satisfaction.
