Finders SA is seeking a Trust Accounting professional to join the Geneva team. You will own day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of trusts, companies, and foundations across multiple jurisdictions, including Swiss entities, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.

The role involves producing annual financial statements, assisting with Swiss tax returns, and delivering clear management information to clients and trustees.

Qualifikationen

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Around 3–5 years' accounting experience, ideally within a trust company or fiduciary environment.
  • Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles and experience preparing financial statements.

  • Maintain accurate records, perform reconciliations, and ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and working papers per applicable standards.

Position:

Due to continued growth, our client, a leading independent trust company, is looking to strengthen its Client Accounting team in Geneva. Joining a busy, close-knit team, you will work closely with the Managing Director, fellow Trust Accountants and Trust Officers, taking ownership of a varied portfolio while contributing to a collaborative environment where quality, professionalism and exceptional client service are at the heart of the business.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of trusts, companies and foundations across a variety of international jurisdictions, including Swiss entities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and supporting working papers in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of Swiss corporate tax returns for straightforward entities.
  • Produce financial reports and management information for clients, trustees and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Trust Officers and colleagues across the business to deliver a seamless, high-quality service to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, controls and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical accounting support and contribute to wider team initiatives and ad hoc projects as required.

Profile:
  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Around 3-5 years' accounting experience, ideally within a trust company or fiduciary environment.
  • Applicants with solid Swiss company accounting experience looking to specialise in trust accounting are also encouraged to apply.
  • Previous exposure to trusts, foundations and offshore structures would be a distinct advantage.
  • Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles, with experience preparing financial statements independently.
  • Experience preparing accounts and simple tax returns for Swiss companies is highly desirable.
  • Well organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
  • Fluent English is essential; French would be a significant asset.
  • Must be eligible to work in Switzerland and hold a valid Swiss work permit; frontalier accepted
